Terms and conditions

Overview

CutScan is a mobile application available on the iOS platform, developed, owned, and operated by Dzmitry Ihnatsenka (Yellow Plant).

By downloading CutScan to a mobile device and using the app, you agree to be bound by this User Agreement.

The service

CutScan estimates body fat percentage from front and side photos you take in the app. It may show progress over time, comparisons, reminders, and related fitness features.

Results are estimates from photos and profile details you provide — not a clinical, DXA, or medical measurement. CutScan is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Do not rely on it as a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice.

Definitions

• App refers to the CutScan mobile application.
• Content means photos, profile details, goals, scan results, and other data you create or generate in the App.
• Fees means charges for CutScan Pro, as shown in the App Store and in the app before you pay.
• Service means the body-fat scanning and progress features described above.

Membership conditions

• You must be at least 18 years old or have legal guardian consent to use CutScan.
• You are responsible for how you use the App, including camera permission and the accuracy of profile details you enter.
• Devices must be compatible and configured for CutScan.
• Do not use the App to interfere with others or for anything illegal.
• Do not upload photos of other people without their permission, or content that is unlawful or abusive.

Photos and analysis

The Service needs camera (or photo library) access to capture the images used for a scan. A compressed copy is sent to our servers for analysis and is not retained as photo storage after the estimate is produced. Full-resolution photos for your timeline remain on your device.

Updates and modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue CutScan or its features at any time without notice.

Privacy and security

How we handle information is described in the CutScan privacy policy. We strive to protect data; we cannot guarantee complete security.

Intellectual property

You keep the rights to Content you create in the App. You grant us a license to process that Content only as needed to provide the Service. The App itself, name, and design remain ours.

Fees — CutScan Pro

CutScan may be used with limits on the free tier (for example, a limited number of scans). CutScan Pro unlocks additional features such as unlimited scans and progress tools. Current StoreKit prices (USD; may vary by region and over time):

• CutScan Pro Weekly — $4.99 per week, auto-renewing.
• CutScan Pro Annual — $34.99 per year, auto-renewing (may include a free trial as shown in the App Store and paywall at purchase).

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the then-current price.
• Manage or cancel in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.

Refunds, if any, are handled by Apple under Apple’s rules. Family Sharing is not enabled for these products unless Apple or the App Store listing states otherwise.

Liability and indemnity

CutScan is provided “as is” without warranties, including that any estimate will be accurate for your body or goals. We are not liable for fitness, health, or other decisions you make based on estimates, or for indirect damages from use of the Service.

Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, our liability is limited to what the law requires.

App Store

You also agree to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement and the App Store terms. If those conflict with these terms on a point Apple requires, Apple’s terms win on that point.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Dzmitry Ihnatsenka operates.

Acknowledgement

By using CutScan, you acknowledge your responsibility for compliance with these terms and conditions.
