Punto
Privacy policy
Effective date 9 September 2026
1. Introduction
Who we are. Punto is a mobile application developed by Dzmitry Ihnatsenka (Yellow Plant). It is a padel scoreboard for iPhone and Apple Watch: you tap when a point is won, and the app tracks games, sets, tiebreaks, serve, and your match history.
Purpose of this privacy policy. This policy explains how Punto handles information. By using Punto, you consent to the practices described here.
2. Information collection
Punto does not require an account. We do not ask for your name or email to keep score.
On your device. The app stores on the iPhone (and, where you use Apple Watch, on the Watch via WatchConnectivity):
- Match scores, event history, settings, and optional player names you enter.
- Progress data such as XP, levels, achievements, and challenges.
- Whether you have Punto Pro.
- Preferences, including language and whether workouts or anonymous usage sharing are enabled.
Health. If you grant HealthKit permission on Apple Watch and keep the workout setting on, Punto may start a workout when a match starts and record heart rate and active energy for that session. Health data stays on your devices through Apple Health. It is not uploaded to a Yellow Plant server.
Purchases. If you buy or subscribe to Punto Pro, Apple processes the payment. We use RevenueCat to confirm your entitlement. We do not receive your card number.
Diagnostics. If you choose Send Diagnostic Logs, on-device logs (recent technical events; not full score content or personal profile data beyond match identifiers and timestamps) may be attached to an email you send to support.
Anonymous usage (optional). If enabled, Punto may record aggregate product events (for example that a match was started or a paywall was shown) without an account. You can turn this off in Settings. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.
3. Use of information
Information on the device is used to:
- Run scoring, history, progress, and Watch sync.
- Save optional Health workouts for matches you play.
- Unlock Punto Pro after a valid purchase.
- Improve the product when you share anonymous usage data.
- Answer you if you contact us.
4. Sharing of information
We may share information only as follows:
- Apple — App Store, StoreKit, HealthKit, Watch Connectivity, and related system services.
- RevenueCat — purchase and entitlement status for Punto Pro.
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or government request.
- Business transactions — if Punto is transferred as part of a merger, sale, or similar transaction.
We do not sell your match history or Health data. We do not share it for advertising.
5. Data security
Match data stays on your devices unless you back them up or use Apple services that copy app data. We implement reasonable measures for anything that does leave the device (purchases, optional usage events). No digital system is completely secure.
6. Your data rights
You can delete matches and reset data in the app, revoke Health permission in Apple Settings, turn off anonymous usage sharing, or remove Punto from the device. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal information we hold, or object to processing.
To exercise these rights, contact dihnatsenka.studio@gmail.com.
7. International transfers
Purchase data processed by Apple or RevenueCat may be stored outside your country. By using the app, you consent to such transfers where the law allows.
8. Children’s privacy
Punto does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 16. If we become aware of data collected from children without verified parental consent, we will take steps to delete it.
9. Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app or the law. The effective date at the top will change.
Using Punto is also covered by our terms and conditions.
