Terms and conditions

Overview

Punto is a mobile application available on the iOS and watchOS platforms, developed, owned, and operated by Dzmitry Ihnatsenka (Yellow Plant).

By downloading Punto to a mobile device or Apple Watch and using the app, you agree to be bound by this User Agreement.

The service

Punto is a padel scoreboard. You tap when a team wins a point. The app tracks points, games, sets, tiebreaks, serve rotation, optional player names, match history, and progress features (such as XP and challenges). Scoring can continue on Apple Watch when paired.

Punto is a convenience tool for recreational and club play. It is not an official tournament scoring system or a substitute for a referee. You remain responsible for how you use scores and results.

Definitions

• App refers to the Punto mobile and Watch apps.
• Content means scores, match history, player names, settings, and other data you create in the App.
• Fees means charges for Punto Pro, as shown in the App Store and in the app before you pay.
• Service means the scoring, history, progress, and related features described above.

Membership conditions

• You must be at least 18 years old or have legal guardian consent to use Punto.
• You are responsible for how you use the App, including Health permission on Apple Watch and accuracy of scores you enter.
• Devices must be compatible and configured for Punto.
• Do not use the App to interfere with others or for anything illegal.

Health and Watch

Optional workout recording uses Apple HealthKit on the Watch. Denying Health access does not block scoring. Workout data is managed by Apple Health on your devices.

Updates and modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue Punto or its features at any time without notice.

Privacy and security

How we handle information is described in the Punto privacy policy. We strive to protect data on the device; we cannot guarantee complete security.

Intellectual property

You keep the rights to Content you create in the App. You grant us a license to process that Content only as needed to provide the Service on your devices. The App itself, name, and design remain ours.

Fees — Punto Pro

Starting a match and Pro features (such as unlimited matches, Customize Match, Americano, statistics, and full history) require Punto Pro. Current StoreKit prices (USD; may vary by region and over time):

• Punto Pro Monthly — $3.99 per month, auto-renewing (may include a 7-day free trial as shown in the App Store and paywall at purchase).
• Punto Pro Lifetime — $22.99, one-time (non-consumable).

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the then-current price.
• Manage or cancel in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.

If a subscription lapses, you may keep read access to past matches as offered in the app, but starting new matches may require an active entitlement again. Refunds, if any, are handled by Apple under Apple’s rules. Family Sharing is not enabled for these products unless Apple or the App Store listing states otherwise.

Liability and indemnity

Punto is provided “as is” without warranties, including that every score or rule edge case will match a particular club’s house rules. We are not liable for disputed match outcomes or indirect damages from use of the Service.

Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, our liability is limited to what the law requires.

App Store

You also agree to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement and the App Store terms. If those conflict with these terms on a point Apple requires, Apple’s terms win on that point.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Dzmitry Ihnatsenka operates.

By using Punto, you acknowledge your responsibility for compliance with these terms and conditions.
